Consultancy Day Committee

On November 22, the 2011 edition of the Consultancy Day will take place. This is a day on which consultancy firms are given the opportunity to introduce the profession of consultancy to students of Tilburg School of Economics and Management. The program will feature one general presentation about consultancy, then workshops of two different consultancy firms.

What does the committee do?
The tasks of the Consultancy Day committee consist of inviting companies for the event and maintaining contact with these companies.  The committee will create and execute a promotional campaign on the University to get as many students to participate in the event. Furthermore, the committee arranges the location and catering on campus and construct creates a detailed program of the day to ensure that the day will be a success.

What does the committee learn?
The committee will first together think out the concept of this year's edition of the Consultancy Day. They will need to contact a lot of companies by telephone in order to convince them to participate in the day. After the companies are arranged, the committee really needs to think of how to make the day appealing to students and to have a satisfactory number of participants.

Interested in joining the committee?
The committee of every edition of the Consultancy Day will start up in the beginning of the second semester and will last until November, when the event takes place.
